I think part of the “fun” people refer to when test driving a car is the opposite of what BMW builds. Of all the cars I have owned nothing feels as connected to the road from a sedan point of view as the BMW, and even for that matter the mini. The connection with the sounds of the road are almost gone in BMW which could throw many people off…it makes them seem fast but not fun. But don’t take anyone’s word for it get out there and test drive everything.
