2018 SQ5 P+ thoughts?

13% off on a 2019 is VERY good. Are you sure they are not including the lease cash in the 13% off model? From personal experience i couldn’t get any more than 11% off all the dealers i talked to (10+) 13% would make sense if they included the lease cash. On the 2018, i’d probably expect 15% (which you’re getting, and lease cash on top of that. i think the dealer is trying to use the lease cash to make your deal look sweeter than it is. It should be 15% + lease cash) but i’m kinda new here so maybe i’m being too optimistic. @gc2a @dig616 care to chime in ?

Won’t the higher residual more than make up the 2% discount difference?

Residual is 1% diff per what I see on edmunds, so i don’t think so

Got a quote on a 2019 msrp 65780 with basic fees due at signing. Das is 2900. 13% off plus 2250 in leash cash. Came out to $615 including 7% fl tax. Thoughts? 2019 looks better than 2018 at this point

695 All in. I think it’s a good deal if without MSD’s, but if it’s with MSD’s then it’s an ok deal. For reference mine is 660 all in in 61.5K car w MSD

$615 includes tax. No MSDs yet.

I’d use MSD’s and jump on that. that is a great deal. W/ MSD’s it should be around 650.

650? I do not understand. The proposal is 615 including tax. With MSDs would be less no?

I’m talking all in cost. including the downpayment. Monthly can be lower if you prepay tax for example. So yours is 615, so probably closer to like 570 or so? My all in cost is 660 = 550 monthly and $4900 due at signing (audicare+tax+acq+all the fees up front)

das breakdown is 799 dealer fee, 895 acq fee, 398 tax, and 350 tag transfer. We are skipping audicare since its a 7500/year lease.
Lady is working 1% off msrp to get us closer to our want! Keep you posted!

$542+tax = $579

nice job, should have done MSDs for an even better price, but overall solid

Where is this at?

Pretty solid deal!

If you have not signed yet add MSDs instead of drive off.

Thank you all for the feedback and tips. Learned a great deal for sure.
I signed the car late last night and the specialist didnt know about MSDs and I didnt want to press further. Next time Ill inquire more and make sure I do them since it would have saved approx. 40/month.
