2018 Porsche Boxster S - $831+Tax (39/5K) $3,000 down. California

Hi all, I just recently sold off and ended my lease on this 718 Boxster S and came back to update the total cost of owning the car for a couple of years. The time with the car was priceless; such a fun car especially with sticks. Here is a brief breakdown:

Had the car for 34 months at $910/M =$30,940 (total payment incl tax)
Initial down payment: $3,000
The total cost of ownership for 34 months: $33,940

The payoff quote was at $55,000.
Sold car at a different dealership at $64,000
Profit $9,000

Total cost of ownership for 34 months: $33,940 - $9,000 = $24,940 (or $733/m)

I was over my mileage and had to pay extra if the lease was returned. I also participated in the VW emissions testing program, where VW took my car in for a month for testing. In return, they loaned me a Turbo Sā€¦ for a whole monthā€¦ along with a $1K gift card. I used the gc to replace the rear tires.

All in all, this forum gave me the courage to pull the trigger and I didnā€™t regret it one bit. Thank you. Now I am planning for Turbo S, but will need to find ways to make up the gap.

I was almost positive after reading the title that it would be an unnecessary thread bump from someone clueless about the current market asking about dealer info to replicate this deal. Glad to see an actual update from OP.
