There’s no need for adaptive cruise - it’s a sports car! Vented seats - meh. I had them in my 5 series and I’m in Arizona. I’ll be fine with window tint.
My car had a 71k MSRP. I got a deal I’m very happy with =)!

Porsche acq fee is 995 BTW.
I think i’m more jealous that you live in a place where this car has some level of practicality more so than of the fact that you got this car. It’s gorgeous in red.
Thanks! The only thing I wanted that it doesn’t have were 20’s - it’s getting tint next week. The S would have been fun - impossible to find as a demo though and the residual is lower. You pay significantly more for an S out of the box and then more to lease it.
If you’re looking for a deal on any Porsche you are going to have to either be really flexible on options or scour the entire country. Even then you’ll likely end up paying more due to options it has that you don’t want or shipping fees or mileage loss on getting it home.
Had literally a crackhead deal on an S in place, well under the 1% rule for 5000 miles, and just didn’t pull the trigger b/c wasn’t practical in NYC
Out of curiosity, are the conquest lease program AND trade in program able to be combined on a Cayman? Even better, on a Loaner? I’m positive equity on one lease that has about 20 months left, getting both would be worth about 6k
Where on Edmunds are you getting residual values for various vehicles? Unable to locate. Search gives previous documents.
What was this crackhead deal? Crackhead deals are always the BEST.
7s nothing due at signing on an 80k msrp cayman s. 5k miles
I scour’d the country but found one with all the options I wanted. Though I would have rather had a stick shift.
I have an inside source =).
Conquest program ONLY applies to new cars. I wasn’t able to use it on my lease but it didn’t matter.
Also, you want the PSMP - Porsche scheduled maintenance plan on any Porsche lease; the cost of it can be negotiated and it adds one point to the residual and basically pays for itself.
If this car was a loaner/demo - it will lease well. https://www.porschesantabarbara.com/inventory/used-2018-porsche-718-cayman-base-rwd-2d-coupe-wp0aa2a87jk260192
Just curious, what’s the policy of tinting on a leased vehicle? Are we allowed to do it?
I’ve found mild tints to not be an issue on lease returns but if you went some pretty drastic level of dark they may want it taken off
It’s almost a good deal. The Down payment is the issue 2k down + 1k acq + 669 fee = 3.6k DAS.
The MF is great though 0.00151 is lower than the .002 it has been for a while. I think you can push for a little more off 9% to 11% discount …
I did not know Porsche did this with the maintenance plan similar to Audi. The bad part for me, closest dealer is just over 2 hours away.
