Just doing quick math I would be paying 31K to lease a car for 3 years , MSRP for that is 36K

What in the world are you even talking about? Did you go to a dealer and that’s what you were quoted? Is it an online ad?
Also, by saying “(I am trying hard to not use the R word)” you are using the R word. If you don’t want to use it, just don’t use it. It should be pretty easy.
