2018 Nissan Altima 2.5SL w/ Tech Package

Hi All! A happy new member and have been scouring the forums and site for hours on my phone!

I have a 2015 Altima SL and the car did well for me over the last (3) years so I figured I’d get another.

Has anyone on here leased a 18’ Altima SL with Tech Package?

I’m getting monthly quotes anywhere from $330-370…all with only first payment due at signing.

Considering it’s the last year of the model phase, and existing customer, I figured it would be much lower. Truecar is showing $6-8K off MSRP.

Any insight?

Thanks!

Get an Infiniti Q50 instead, likely will be cheaper.

Way too much for that car, you can get into a 3 series for that kind of payment. You might want to check out other makes and models

Wow! I love this forum. Quick responses!

Assuming I actually like the Altima and want it…anyone have an idea of where payments should actually be with only first payment due?

I know the residual isn’t great, but should be able to make up for it in price reduction due to end of model phase.

I actually had the G37 lease twice when I was younger and switched to Altima to save a bit and better gas mileage. I will check it out though.

Get residual, mf, provide msrp, potential sales price from truecar that includes only lease rebates and you see if it is possible. Just asking out of the blue unless someone got one before its like making a hole in the water.

Unless I’m wrong I believe it’s .00003 and 48% via Edmunds forum.

Truecar shows $24,336 as average marketplace price and $31,520 MSRP with all options I choose.

This would be 36/12 and just first payment due.

Good work. Now make sure the rebates truecar uses are not purchase rebates. Go to autobytel.com to see rebates for that car. Then focus on dealer discount and plug number in calculator. You have to see what fees they are tacking on but with that residual it will be tough to get a good deal.

For 350, you can be in a Altima 3.5 SL.

I ended up getting the 2018 2.5SL w/ Tech Package for $339/month (tax in) and $0 due at signing. It’s a maxed out car for sure (Bose, leather, LED DRL, LED headlamps, navi, apple carplay, etc.)

Hope I did good?

Impossible to tell without knowing MSRP, selling price, tax etc.

Do you have all of the prices I should provide to the community? I have everything in front of me now from the deal.

The $6k-$8k is inclusive of a $4k purchase rebate and another $500 rebate if you finance through NMAC along while Nissan only has $1975 in lease cash.

There is also a $1k loyalty discount that can be used on a purchase or lease.

I am noob here , just letting you know my 2 cents
selling price must be 10% or less of MSRP you did gr8!
but monthly payment needs to be 1% of MSRP or less($319.80/m) incl tax
you are not far away but I guess if you are happy with CVT altima then few dollars dont matter.
Enjoy you car, it has hell speedy wheels !

The RV sucks but if u are happy with it.

It doesn’t “need” to be 1%…that’s just a guideline. Definitely not a rule that’s set in stone by any means.

Self professed noob who doesn’t know anything about leasing except the 1% “rule”?

How garbage gets propagated on the internet, in a nutshell.

Discount is weak on an aging model with collapsing sales.

It’s more than I spend on a loaded up Q50, but at least the gas mileage is great. It truly sucks on a Q50, but with some work you can lease the $52k Q50 Hybrid for $0 down and around $370-390/month.

What was your deal on the Q50? I’m probably one of the few weirdos who actually prefers the lower brand but maxed out in features (more stealth).

It seems the gas savings based on my driving using fuelgov site show about $45/month in savings.
