2018 Mercedes GLA 250 lease up in 1 month. Buyout option is $28,000

Thank you all for the replies…learned a good bit, was reminded of a couple things i had not considered (not sure how i missed paying tax on buy-out).

And realized today as i prep for a dealership visit tomorrow that i misread the residual buyout value.
It is not $28,000…its $23,800.

Now seriously considering the buyout, resell on my own route…though i am meeting with a couple local dealers Mon and Tue to discuss a GLC (zeroing in on a $600 a month w/8 MSDs and 0 down)

Heres the link to their inventory page:

Did you contact them? Was it legit?

Mercedes dealers marking up MSRP over $5k. No wonder sales are falling drastically.

You seem to have suppy and demand reversed.

just posted a thread in the deals forum that brings this question to a close:

Used the $5,770 equity from the GLA to squeeze into a 2021 GLB for a total out of pocket one-time payment of $13,741 for 36 month / 10,000 mile lease.

Essentially we just transfered the equity from the GLA to the GLB as the residual on the GLB is $25,218…in three years the GLB will be selling around $31,000-$33,000.
