Another tip for the future if your using honcker, you can request for the specific VIN number of the vehicle through support if you provide the ID. With VIN you can do a reverse search and find the vehicle on google
They actually found the vehicle a different way. They called asking about location, as some of the cars in NJ could be 2+ hours away. So they did become aware of viable options for them that were much closer to where they live.
Not sure if you can hit your 300.00 target but you can get alot closer. You will need a bigger discount. It is possible you just have to keep hammering.
UPDATE! especially @arcticfaded
so i finally ended up talking to a sales manager who said they could put something in writing. looks like this is the best they could do.
349/349. 0 down, taxes and fees and docs rolled in. not exactly the 330 i thought it would be.
what was the MF they gave you? In Mazda this can be the difference between 40$+ a month or 40 cents + a month
What about the other 15 dealerships within 50 miles of your zip code? It’s good for you to have something in writing that you can shop around to other dealerships. Find a stock # that is suitable and ask to speak with an internet manager or sales manager.
Honcker for 8.625% sales tax rate is showing $350 with $350 due at signing. No shortage of these things at that price. Save it to your favorites and the price should drop $6-$10 per month in a matter of days as a “flash sale”. You can shop that offer around. I know my sister-in-law found some dealers unwilling to beat the Honcker price. She wound up getting hers in Wantagh (Long Island).
It is easy to get a outrageous quote in writing,I have a dozen of them. However I found it quite difficult to get a good quote in writing. And when you do get one…Good luck getting a copy and leaving the dealer with it. I broke the number one rule of going to the dealer before all the figures were finalized but I was getting close. So I thought a Sunday trip just before closing might get me there. They came down 750.00 and I walked. Got a call last day of the month and got another 500.00 off.So that put us at 325.00 on a 32815.00 GT W/Prem Pck
holy crap, i just googled HONCKER. my mind is blown. i’m checking it out now.
wow that’s brilliant price!
Yeah Honcker will definitely beat that quote, just favorite the GT with the packages you want and let it sit, will go down as low as 20$ off per month (from what I’ve seen)
Flash sales also tend to increase in frequency as the month comes to a close.
Also, I recommend getting a TrueCar quote since they’ll prob send you a $500 incentive in about a week, which also coincides with the end of the month.
wait wait that incentive is on any car and works for leases too?
I used it recently on a Jeep GC lease. I assume if you search for a Mazda and they send you a certificate, it’d work
@gc2a Did you actually receive a certificate? My True car bonus was factored into the True car quotes that I received. That is a good place to start and then let the dealers batlle for your business. But dont stop there. My final pricing was about 1250.00 better than the true car quote.
I know there is a jeep 500 certificate from the Sams club programming but I’m pretty sure they aren’t giving that away for all makes
Ya I received a certificate and it was added to the lease offer on top of an already generous dealer discount before incentives.
I’m paying around $340/month with $0 DAS for a $40k Jeep GC.
Honcker pricing on Mazdas is not very good.
For reference, I have a CX9 touring premium… They are at 342 with a doc fee (taxes and fees at signing). I’ve been at 311. At least 1300-1500 off.
Wow…Great price on a CX9
i received the HONCKER flash deal! you’re right! so far i’ve seen my deals go down about 6-8 bucks. nothing more than that though.
why is the MSRP in honcker lower than the exact configuration on mazdausa.com?
is it because it’s reflecting the mazda national promotion factored in?
