On the surface, it seems like a decent deal since Mazdas generally aren’t great leases and this meets the 1% rule.
If you want to know whether there’s money left on the table, you’ll need to know the selling price and the rebates that are included in that deal.
The fact there’s a trade-in also adds some complication. Was the price they offered for your trade-in competitive with CarMax, Vroom, Shift, etc?
Well… the problem is I have priced these cars out to almost every Mazda dealer in my general area. None of them will get anywhere close to this number and include the remote start. The trade could possible get another 500$ but another dealership wouldn’t touch the 347 mo payment @ zero down. I feel like 320 a mo is possible but I would probably have to fist fight the dealer to get that amount. Not sure if there are any other cars similar to this that u would get all of these options for around same price. It has basically everything u can get in a car.
Having sold Mazda, the only Mazda dealers that will take stupid deals are the ones that regularly get their volume bonus money, which breaks down to be about $1500 a car if they hit the number. There’s isn’t much profit in Mazda tho
