Yeah, people here have gotten ~25% off previously. It does depend on a lot of factors though. Use cargurus.com and sort by “Oldest Listings First”, target the older stock and you’ll likely get better discounts. Later in the year tends to be better as well as not many people buy Ghiblis in winter.
All Maseratis have awfully inflated MSRPs for what they are. They are still trying to ride on their brand allure from twenty years ago but they are even behind non-luxury brands in terms of quality and tech. Ghibli is a <$500 car IMO and it is for the sake of its nice old-school engine…
Currently own one myself. 80k MSRP in reality its worth 40-50k, and yes I do agree with you it should be a <$500 car, people like myself are paying a premium for it’s name, looks, engine nothing extra too it. I actually got a good deal, but there are people paying $800+ for this car which I think it’s not worth it.
There were some great deals on the Ghibli before the refresh on the 2018 model year. Now it seems to be pretty difficult to get a great deal on them. I see a lot of offers for the base Ghibli in the $700-800 range with minimal drive offs.
A friend of mine had his ghibli lease come to an end last month. He got a new ghibli s from Anaheim Hills Maserati and told me he got it for 36/10 at 650+tax a month and 0 down (not sure if he meant 0 das or 0 cap). Didn’t seem worth it to me, but to each their own.
Can personally vouch for Jason. Just took delivery of a Levante SQ4 from Anaheim Hills.
Would however insist you stay on top of him concerning ALL details (taxes, fees, etc) as he seems to play things a bit loose, with corrections/revisions needed thereafter.
