THis forum has been great and helped me on a lease on my last vehicle (BMW x1). I’m looking to lease a 2018 Jeep Grade Cherokee and wanted to see how this deal look. Thanks!
2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x2, Sun Roof, Blind Spot and 8.4" uConnect
**MSRP: $43,125
**Selling Price: $36,935
**Monthly Payment: $400 (includes NC tax 3%) $389 + 3% = $400
**Cash Due at Signing: $637 (first payment and “upfront taxes”
gc2a. Good question. I’ve had to ask the dealer for RV, MF and backed into lease calculator with this info they gave me. I was told the $400 include tax, though my experience has been that the lease work sheets usually don’t include the tax as the payment. They assured me that $687 at signing and $400 a month all in. Thought?
Is this a good deal? It’s a 2018 Jeep GC Limited 4x4 MSRP 43280 with Uconnect 8.4 display and Blind spot monitoring. I wasn’t sure how to interpret the “total lease cash” of $5000. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
$399/month with $0 DAS for 36/12 on a GC Limited 4x4 is a good deal even with just 6% dealer discount. If you can get them to knock a few more % points off, take that deal!
Also, make sure you’re getting every last incentive you qualify for. When I was in ya market for a GC last month, diff dealers sometimes came back with varying incentive amounts.
Another point I should include. I am currently in an Infiniti lease that ends in November. Two payments left. Do you think I should go ahead with a deal now or wait until my lease is near its end? It’s only two payments so I could have them rolled into this deal. Just not sure if Jeep will have as good of incentives in October/November timeframe.
Based on my experience, the issue in November won’t necessarily be incentives, rather inventory. I know around here (NJ) there’s a big shortage of the trims I was interested in (Upland and Altitude). This may not be the case for the limited since it’s by far the most popular trim, in which case waiting may be more prudent. 2 more infiniti payments isn’t exactly nothing…
What you can do is, decide what your buy now payment/month for the GC would be, and try to get it about $20 lower in order to compensate for those last payments.
If that $399/month with $0 down without negotiation is the real number, you’re in a good position to knock it down by $25/month or so. And if you get this deal for around $375/month with just $375 DAS you take that deal now.
I have them at $384/month 36/12k miles. That includes last two payments on my lease and disposition fee (~1100). $0 down and taxes included. Ideally I’d like 15k miles but they’re saying $419/month at those miles. I don’t think its worth it for the extra miles. Maybe I can get them down from that.
