Those are the base RV and MF for a sonata some cars are just terrible in leasing, like Hondas!
to aspen: What do the drive-offs include? Can you afford a One pay on this lease? it should make it significantly cheaper. Also its really a 2800 dollars off because theres a 5000 dollar rebate. I would suggest asking for a larger discount on the sales price BEFORE incentives are applied
Are you sure about the rebate? I’m seeing 5400 lease cash for the Hyundai Limit 2.0T+. Dealer didn’t give me a breakdown, just said $7800 in discounts. Does it matter how it’s being applied?
Will probably do one pay, but first wanted to get feedback on how the monthly looks with MF.
If thats the total leash cash, then you should be getting a larger discount before it, at least 10% off, for reference that would mean a Net price of 24219 although your not far off of it.
My main concern is the drive offs, I feel like you should be at 24219 Net price with nothing due at signing. Could you include what your paying upfront?
Thanks for the feedback. Going to try negotiating the sales price.
The drive-off amount is probably high because of the sales tax in TX. I got the numbers from the calculator, still need to confirm with the dealer if it’s correct, but here’s how it broke down:
1st month payment: $343
Down payment: $0
Registration and doc fee: $480
Total Tax: $1,907
I think you are over paying, I currently am also looking at leasing a Sonata, the best deal on the table (I still have several dealers to contact) is 5800 rebate (limited 2, non plus), and 4300 discount. It’s right at 300/mo including tax with only DMV fee ($89) and first month due at signing. Keep negotiating.
