2018 Hyundai Sante Fe

We are shopping numbers with local dealerships on the SE Ultimate AWD w/ tech package. Does anyone have recent numbers on deals? I’m comparing this with the 2018 Toyota Highlander to see what will offer best deal. Thanks in advance.

I suggest you share the numbers you’ve already been given by various dealers for the Sante Fe and Highlander. Then allow the members to provide feedback. That’s how it works here, you’re expected to do the work, and have your numbers reviewed, and suggestions made on how you can improve the deal.

Will do. We are heading to the dealership this week and will post the numbers.

For Virginia do we use 4.15% in the tax section of the calculator?

Thanks!

I looked at a 2018 Sante Fe SE Ultimate with Tech Package. This car is considered pre owned w/ 2100 miles (they said it was an exec car at Hyundai). I got 2 separate sheets from the dealer … here are the numbers i got for 36 month / 12k miles:

Here is how I entered it into Calculator to get the monthly payment close to dealer - is this correct?

Sales Price: $44,213
MF: .00226
Doc Fee: $689
Acq Fee: 650
Months: 36
Down Payment: 0
Taxed Incentives: 6400
Untaxed Incentives: 0
Post-Sale Rebates: 0
Residual: 53%
License/Reg Fee: 75
Sales Tax: 4.15%
Monthly PMT (Tax Excluded): $550
Monthly PMT (tax included): $573 (close to $577.87)

Am I wrong in thinking this is not a good deal. The manager is saying sales price is $42,800 but the numbers don’t work in calculator with that (they do work with $44,213 as seen above). This suggests the only negotiation is the lease cash offered plus $500 off MSRP. Am i reading that right?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
