2018 Honda CR-V EX-L $350/month Lease Input Needed

I have been offered an EX-L with MSRP of $31,825 for a sale price below $27,495 (NJ) and a lease payment under $350. 10k miles/36months. Zero drive off. Unfortunately, the dealer won’t give me all the details over the phone and I won’t be able to get to the dealer for another week (moving to NJ soon). I would have preferred to have a car deal done before I moved for convenience.

Should I move forward with the deal?

What is the drive off amount?

0 drive off. Updated OP as well.

The payment is good for a cr-v, especially with 0 DAS. Honda doesn’t usually discount much for volume sellers so I think it’s a pretty good deal.

Not a bad deal. Wish he threw in 12K miles instead of 10. But I get this feeling there will be drive offs and after taxes the CR-V could cost you 50 more bucks a month (roll in the drive offs).

He said 0 drive off, not 0 down. Let’s take his word for it.

Oh god not this again…

Can you provide the dealer details? I am very interested. I am thinking of purchasing CR EX-L would like to check this option instead.

Not to burst your bubble the dealership is straight up lying to you. I work at the largest Honda dealer in Nj. I plugged in the numbers nowhere near a deal just so you are aware. Assuming 10k a year with 36 months through Honda.

At truely $0 drive offs, $350 a month all inclusive is a steal for CR-V EX-L at that MSRP.
Go ahead IF that’s the car you want!

Great deal on a CR-V if that’s actually the payment and they don’t mess with you. That being said, I think you can get more car for the money in Equinox or Terrain. Very smart to lease a CR-V instead of buy one considering the gasoline in oil issue that is plaguing them

I barely read about the 1.5T engine problems today. Before today, it was always recommended to buy the CRV because of how reliable they are, hold their value well and the bad leasing factors. Starting from today on, will it only be advisable to lease CRVs? :joy:

I just don’t see the hype over the CR-V. It’s rather noisy, has an awful infotainment system, and the rear is as ugly as an Aztek. The gasoline in the oil could turn into a major problem and Honda didn’t handle the transmission fiasco of the early 2000s well. This could be just as bad. Probably best to just avoid it entirely :joy:

I have another dealer that gave me $389/month with zero drive off. I haven’t gotten the deal yet but i’ll post back if I do. I did put in a “refundable” deposit for the deal whatever that’s worth. We will see. Thanks for bursting my bubble though

Here is the math for the $389/month quote. Maybe i’m missing something so happy to have another set of eyes on it.

While this calculation looks legit, this is costlier than current Qx60 deal that’s all over this site.

Qx60 is a much nicer car and better value for your money.

I will plug in the numbers and see how it looks like but I’m pretty sure they are using a outside bank. Which is cal automotive which has better support and I will assume nj registration.
