2018 Honda Civic Si Lease

So Im in the market for a secondary car. Saw an ad for a 2018 Civic Si Coupe for 199 a month with 1999 down. Did some research found out 18 civic si has 2200 in lease incentives. So I found few dealers and this is best quote I received.

Msrp 24995
Cap cost 19980
2844.65 down which includes drive off
Payment 207 included tax

721 drive off payment of 306 tax included

Dealer would not give me mf or residual.
I figured with 2200 lease incentives drops cap cost so I was hoping for a 200 ish payment with tax.

I keep calculating numbers and they do not add up.
Please I am open to any ideas or suggestions any one has available.

Move on to another dealer.

I can’t figure out how $2100 less DAS adds $99 to the payment. Is this a 24-mo lease?

That’s horse shit… transparency is an absolute must! Run, don’t walk! Next time, ask the dealer for their lease worksheet so we can critique it intelligently. That quote has a lot missing.

Its a 36/12 im not sure how they got those figures i know they lowered cap cost cause of lease incentive which shows 2200 but they said it was only 1900. So for cap reduction payment should drop. Original lease was 199 a month with 1999 down with msrp of 24995. So I figured payment should be low 200s with 0 down. 0 down without lease incentive would be 259 before taxes?

You sure that isn’t the adjusted cap cost and already includes the lease incentive? I dont think a dealer would give 20% off an SI before incentives.

Im sure lease incentive is already adjusted to cap cost. 5000 off msrp is a big chuck. Not sure how they came up with that figure

Civic SI Coupe 2018:
$1,900 lease cash ($2,200 is for LX only)
Residual: .54 at 12k, .52 at 15k
MF: .00065

Thank you so its 1900

If i put on numbers dealer gave me I come up with that figure. Am i doing something wrong?

You aren’t putting $1999 down. The due at signing amount is not a down payment (CCR).

Edit: You are trying to match the $207/mo numbers? Is the incentive taxed? You need the dealer’s worksheet to see what the MF/fees are.
