The destination fee is on every vehicle and can’t be avoided, it’s what the manufacturer charges to get the vehicle to the dealer. Get a stock number from the dealer and look at that car on their website to verify the MSRP
@tonyg2017 is correct. That $21340 price doesn’t include the destination charge of $895 yet. The lowest MSRP for an EX CVT sedan is $22235.

how much lease cash are they applying to this deal? the edmunds site shows lease cash varying from 800 to 1400 depending on civic type and trim. you need to know this as i think you can get down to 249/month.

I don’t know if Honda’s lease well or not but I got my first accord for 195/month and 500$ drive off (500$ lease cash). I got a civic ex with Honda sensing last month for 245$/month and 800$ drive off(first month plus taxes). So you should be able to get better deal for ex. (NorCal)

Did $600 drive off for 186+tax on the EX 36 month lease back in April 2017 in socal, …going to contact dealer to see what lease is looking like on a Civic this year as have another friend interested in Civic at that price

Just an update and a thanks to everyone for providing their input and advice. After working through four dealers, the best deal I was able to put together was $258 / mo. $0 down just first month. It’s not the best deal that folks here seem to get but after multiple dealers unwilling to match/beat that I’m going ahead with it.
Paid a $500 refundable deposit for them to locate the car (after previously saying it was in stock, but I suppose that’s a sales tactic for ya) and they’ve confirmed all numbers. When I have the actual signing done and picked up the car I’ll post the details to the deals forum.

With my limited experience with Honda cars, dealers are unwilling to give you even a lease quote over the phone. They are more inclined to sell and want you in the dealership. I was however able to secure an advertised lease deal with them. Enjoy your ride!

However, after reaching out to multiple dealers regarding a Honda lease I have found highly competitive and lower than advertised rates with lower down payments. I would also like to add that I have reached out via email and ignored their phone calls
Honda deals are out there but you will need patience, Luck, timing, desperate and willing dealership and/or sales manager to move cars out their lot. Be ready to sign on a short notice.
Snagged a 2018 Civic SI Coupe for $257.10 tx included with absolutely nothing out of pocket last Saturday(socal). It took me exactly 9 days of inquiry and mass email offers to surrounding dealerships in my area. Best of luck.

Depends on timing. Honda advertises good leases on the SI. I was quoted $268 with nothing down without even trying to negotiate. That was back in the winter, however.
That’s a great deal. The only issue I have with the Si is that it requires Premium gas.
$13/mo more for premium fuel if you drive 12K/yr
