Ditch the Accord. You can lease a Honda Clarity with better MPG, same size, for less than $200/month with nothing down.
Is the clarity something that OP wants?
It’s all fair and good to say “get X instead of Y,” but how do we know it’s what they’re looking for?
I’m sure objectively there are far better cars to lease than an accord or a clarity.
Any car leasing for .5% of the msrp is a great deal

I don’t think you can lease a better car than the Clarity right now for 7k-9k one pay (and some may even qualify for 1.5k to 2.5k extra state incentive).
From a pure dollar and cents perspective, it’s a very attractive lease. IMO though, it’s not the prettiest car on the market, and would much rather spend a few bucks more on something I like vs something I’m going to be miserable driving for the next 3 years.
So there aren’t better one pay lease deals out there, but that wasn’t the core point I was trying to make. Haha
