2018 GMC Terrain SLE FWD w/ Driver Convenience Package ONE PAY Lease Need Advice

Hello all,

Today i talked to a GMC dealer over phone who claims to be the biggest volume distributor for GMC in the whole USA and can provide me an Awesome deal on 2018 GMC Terrain SLE FWD w/ Driver Convenience Package and wanted me to stop by to get it. I said Congrats on being BIGGEST Volume Distributor for GMC in the whole USA but still i like to finalize the deal via email and once we agree on the price i can stop by at your showroom to pick up the car.

So this is what i got from the BIGGEST Volume Distributor for GMC in the whole USA

Please let me know what are your thought on this One Pay Lease .

Seems high to me. It’s about 1% but…

Rebates are down about $4000 on Terrain from their peak. I doubt they will go down so I’d wait if you can. Sales price is good, but the lack of rebates kills it

I remember when i spoke to the dealer and he confirm there is still Conquest Purchase Cash bonus = $2500 which will be applied to the selling price but i dont see that in the quote.

But not sure if Conquest Purchase Cash bonus = $2500 will be applied to lease

And i assume he took MF = .00155

I am not sure about this charge Ancillary/Other =$750

Still i am trying to figure out how he got Net Cap = $23234 with the above numbers.

You can get a Tiguan S 2 year lease for about $2000 right now (plus taxes & fees). Something to consider.

Is that $2000 one pay?

Don’t think I’ve seen anyone do one pay all up front on a Tiguan yet. If you use it as a cap cost reduction I wonder if they find some way to still hit you for the lease interest which is quite a bit.

There is always interest, even with 1 pay.

Got it, would still probably be several thousand less

Where do you see a Tiguan S for $2000 for 24 months?

That’s the difference between sale price and residual. Actual cost would be higher, but not sure exactly how much.

It is very confusing to just say 2k then when the actual cost is not. The original poster may now be mislead. Best to stick to actual numbers.

It’s useless to just mention one part of a lease. The interest charge alone on that Tiguan S deal is over $1500 and the overall lease cost is more than double the $2000 you stated.

Which is still half as much as that Terrain “deal”

Then state $4k or whatever it is instead of some fake number.

He meant “down pay”?

Wow you’re a piece of work. I’m trying to help someone not take a bad deal, not sell someone a car. Take your shitty attitude somewhere else.

Help someone by giving useless incorrect info? No one on here talks only about depreciation costs of a lease and ignores the rest of the costs.
