Just put a deposit down for the deal below. Seems to be pretty good and required no negotiation with the dealer other than convincing them to do a One Pay. Selling price is great, but MF is marked up to compensate. Will find exact MF tomorrow with the final paperwork.
I believe Graphite Grey, or whatever the dark grey is called.
I wanted white or maybe black but neither were in stock and I didn’t really care about the color. I haven’t even seen this color so hopefully I like it. 1.5L SLEs were scarce this late in the month.
Picked up the Terrain last night. Final deal was actually about 3530 as they don’t do a lot of one pay leases and I guess they fudged their estimator math a touch.
Other than that I would highly recommend Laura Buick GMC in Collinsville, IL (Suburb of St Louis). Zero negotiation on my end to get a deal that appears to be about as good as you can get this month. They are a pure volume dealership (#1 for GMC nationwide they claim), so their internet prices seem to be bottom dollar. (My Terrain was listed at 13% off MSRP before rebates). They do mark up the MF to compensate though so that is a catch. Maybe it can be negotiated down, but I was happy to reward them for making this a painless process and it made the effective discount 10%, which is on par with the other best deals. 172 dollar doc fee, and never any dealer add ons without you requesting them. Night and day experience compared to the other dealerships I contacted.
Interesting. I’m in MO so technically an out of state lease. Might have been able to push them on it. Finance guy originally told me they don’t do One Pays, but I had my sales guy press on it and found out that the Finance Director just did a One Pay lease on a Terrain this month for himself!
They did say they don’t have a lot of lease experience due to the fact that recently Illinois taxed the entire sales price so they weren’t very popular.
For some reason, evwry dealer that I had reached out to had denied to do one pay until I met the current dealer that im working with but he is not a sales person om sales manager. He is higher up so i guess thats why he was pretty open about it.
when it comes to non-traditional leasing options such as 1-pay or using MSDs, the sales guys are usually not that educated and often lazy to look into it.
Slight update. Dealer just sent me a check for 480 dollars as a “down payment overage”, so I guess they screwed up somewhere in the paperwork. That’s about the cost of marking up the MF so I assume they woubd up not doing that in the end. Final deal around 3050, so not too shabby.
Thats great. Could also be that they collected a little more due to ur out state taxes?
Btw, her ready for pms on what dealer and how do i get this deal questions coming up
