2018 GMC Terrain FWD 4dr Denali IS THIS A GOOD DEAL?

,

Hi all need some help to understand if this sounds like a good deal. big discount ends tomorrow so I’m down to the wire. I know I could do much better but stock is limited in DE and I need the Driver alert packages for the wife.

Here are the specs: MSRP $41,845
GMC Terrain Denali 2.0L gas FWD
-DRIVER ALERT PACKAGE I
-DRIVER ALERT PACKAGE II
-SUNROOF, SKYSCAPE POWER WITH POWER SUNSCREEN
-+ all the Denali trim and upgrades
-36mo 15k

I’m looking to do the one pay and trade in my 2011 Terrain dealer offering $6K
Discount #1 Conquest: $3k (I’m on my sons F150 lease)
Discount #2 GM Financial Supported Lease Program: $2,650
Discount #3 GM Select Market Incremental CCR : $750
Total Cap cost reduction: $12,400

The dealer came down only 7% off MSRP
Total sale price less cap reduction = $26,515
APR is 2.6% or MF .00112

Out the door tax, title, one pay, EVERYTHING is 9K (or equivalent to 36 payments of $250) is this a good deal?

When you hit 35k+ on a terrain it generally turns from a fantastic deal to a just OK deal. The AWD Diesels I’ve been looking at are like $41k because they load them up with all kinds of crap, then to add insult to injury there’s like 3 AWD diesel SLE’s within a 100 mile radius. Maybe one or two without the $2000 sunroof and all that junk.

Not sure why you’d do 36mo since the 24mo lease is about $20 - $30/mo less. If that deal includes the $6k trade then you’re over $400 a month and it’s just an average deal. People have been getting Tacomas, Highlanders, X3 Demos, Lexus RX etc. at that price point, though maybe not fully loaded ones.

Thanks. The 9K out the door is everything including the trade in, DE fee (tax), registration and all. I really only need power liftgate, leather seats, and the driver assistance features but like you said there is limited stock in the area so i find my self in the SLT+ trim. I did 36 months because of the one pay MF reduction and honestly, I’d rather not swap cars every 2 years for $750 all told.

$250 a month on a Denali trim is a great deal. Compare it to other SUVs you can get for $250/month and there’s no contest.

Wait no just read about your trade in. In that case no it’s a bad deal. Go look at the QX60 thread in the market forum instead.

The equivalent of $416 a month with all of those rebates? Pretty bad IMHO. 24 months is much much better because you will divide the rebates over a smaller amount of time. Get a check for the trade (or less is private party you’ll get a lot more)

So far in working on my deal
Graphite Gray Terrain 2.0 awd sle
Driver convenience
Driver alert
Infoantment
Msrp $36115
Sale price $32513 before rebates
24 months 12k
Conquest and supplier

Gave me some outrageous price at first. But told him I wasnt having that and him I wanted 10% off sale price, than I told him I had supplier

Came back with $259 w/tax incld with first payment down.

I’m happy with the deal, but I think I could get a little more off the monthly price.

Other issue is the car is in transit… so not sure if I should sign them deal and wait for the car? I dont want to pay and not have the car. So need to see what can be done.

Terrible. Sell the current Terrain privately or get A check.

You should be able to get to 300 or lower at 24 months without a trade as cap cost reduction with aggressive dealer discount.

Hurry, one more day!~
