2018 Dodge Durango SXT

Hi everyone, new to the forum but not new to reading through all the great info. I wanted to get your thoughts on this as I’m trying to replace a 2011 Dodge Caravan;

MSRP: $35700
Sell Price: $33180
Down: $4000 + first month payment
MF: .000008
Res: 50%
Term: 36 month
Lease: $259/mo

I’d appreciate your thoughts.

I don’t follow Dodge, but I would think you could get at least 10% off MSRP. Also, with the MF so low, you should do a true sign and drive deal. $4k is way too much to put down.

Thanks! I totally agree and I think I’ll just keep the $4k and do a $0 down. :slight_smile:

I had requested the TrueCar price on some Durango’s in my area (DE, MD, PA) and for a 2018 SXT AWD with an MSRP of $35,130 the best I got is $30,666. That should give you a better of what to aim for.

I’m trying to figure out how you got to $259/mo–did they give you that number? I don’t know your specific taxes and fees, but with that sale price it looks like it would be closer to the mid $300’s.

That $259 is with my 8% tax and $4000 down. I’m looking currently at $379 with $0 down.
