2018 Dodge Charger RT/ScatPack Lease

Hey guys i need some advice I gathered up dealer info last night got up at 8AM bright and early looked at cars again that options i wanted since i’m in Utah i focused on So Cal market since i’m not to far away. I thought i had a possible deal going with Huntington Beach Dodge but when i said i needed a 10% discount off MSRP before incentives the emails stopped. The same thing happened with a Las Vegas Dealer i haven’t even got any quotes yet to come and post. I’m still grinding on as i type also reached out to a couple Arizona dealers asked for quotes so we will see what happens. I will go pick it up that’s why i focused on these areas first. I don’t mind shipping it if it comes to that do u guys think i need to open my search up to rest of the lower 48? I wonder do dealers take us seriously when we negotiate by email i even told them i’m a serious buyer i wan’t to take delivery this week. All the dealers first thing when can u come in i’m out of state douce bag why would i come in for what might be a shitty quote u can give me over email.

Keep going. 10% off on those are easy. I was having no issues getting over 10% before incentives on SRT 392s and Hellcats.

Thanks Mike Mani also told to keep grinding so I’m keep bugging dealers.

I doubt 10 is easy. Just my opinion.

Well Huntington Beach Dodge are no good for deals, so don’t be put off by them. You need to call, don’t bother with emails, also find a dealer with a few in stock.

I had zero issue in the NYC/NJ/PA area as recent as a month ago.

Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg, ID has screaming deals on Dodges. I was hunting down a Challenger a week ago and talked to Jason (800) 635-8000 x1113 at jayc@davesmith.com

They’re prices on cars are excellent, but I don’t know how aggressive they are on leases. They can lease through Chrysler Capital, Ally, and maybe US Bank. Outside of CCap, there can be huge IDL rebates, but Ally has a huge buy rate of around 8.75%, the equivalent of a 0.00365 money factor. It boils down to who has the better payment. I don’t know how close to buy rate they’ll go with CCap, but Jason was quoting me 9.25% with Ally, which isn’t bad.

You can go here to find the CCap MFs and RVs for what you’re interested in- there can be a dramatic difference from model to model. This is the last page- you want to stick with July numbers:

Thanks KD6 that was actually me that asked about RV AND MF at the end there about to check them out.

Some salesman don’t have a clue what there doing i called a dealer in Arizona for a quote first thing i said i’m out of state i’m in Utah can u lease to out of state buyers sure no problem. He just was about to give me the quote calls back oh i can’t do a lease for u in Utah. This is just been a roller coaster.

I’ve been calling (or chatting) with dealers asking for the name of and to speak with the head guy in the internet sales or fleet department. It helps avoid most of the salesmen who don’t know how to work a deal on their own.

I had Dodge dealers out of state say no problem to an out of state deal, so I would assume Utah should be fine.

That’s what i thought to Utah would be fine good advice tomorrow I’m hit some more dealers i reached out to that dealer in ID u told me about guess it was to late in the evening.

You can run a half ass locate on the Dodge website and click on the link to the dealer and see what discount they offer online. You might see some for $6,000 off MSRP or something to give you a feel for the market. Then it’s a matter of seeing who will lease one at/near the buy rate (their cost on the lease factor). Some models are exempt from the acquisition fee, too.

The dealer will be a lot more motivated to deal on something they have in stock or in transit.

I read on here that FCA dealers were a pain in the ass to deal with i’m finding that out first hand.

Guys how does deal look it says $500 down but that is just a deposit to hold it. Only thing due at signing is first month’s payment.

This one?

I think it’s a great deal as long as $500 isn’t a down payment and drive off is first month’s payment.

2018 Dodge Charger RT/Scat Pack 392 Komrade i confirmed its only a deposit to hold the car i when i take delivery i would just use $439 of that as my first payment and get $61 bucks back. I forgot to add it has additional equipment Navigation Beats audio Driver Confidence package and Sunroof. I just wanted to make sure its a good deal before i place a depoist.

Does anyone else think is a good deal?
^^^^^^^^^^^^

In the deal sheet, he applied the balance of the $500 as cash cap reduction, so you won’t get that back. But obviously not a big deal for such a small amount.

For a scat pack charger, I think the deal is OK. Honcker shows me a low-option unit in my area for $390 for 36/10k but it is one of one. Bump up to a $46k model and the payment jumps to $460.

Yeah, that 500 isn’t to hold the car. He’s applying it to your cost.

Is that APR base? Seems awfully high. You still have room in there, as I think the payment should be about 400 with 0 down.
