Apologies for the long post - wanted to get my experience out there for everyone since I won’t be leasing again until my cars are up!
Thanks again to this great forum, I was able to secure an awesome loaner! Followed many of the tips here from bumping MF in lieu of acq fee, finding the highest discounted car and grinding it out with the dealer, aiming for at least 20% off of MSRP, etc.
**Note: no more loaners available at this dealer. Tried to replicate for a close friend and was able to get to ~19-20% off MSRP. So deal won’t be able to be replicated.
I believe the 23% was due to the below factors:
- Car was on lot for considerably longer than all the others (roughly about 3 months longer)
- Had wireless charging instead of parking assist. Something a bit less desirable and not as practical day to day. Would have preferred parking assist but went with lowest pmt.
- Car was at ~21% off MSRP on the website. So less to go to get to 23%
- Last day of the month/quarter.
- Had existing relationship and had just leased a car a few months prior from same dealer and sales manager. They were great and took care of me. So will be going back!
