Quick question: have noticed that several MA BMW dealers have 2018 330i X Drive Wagon’s on their website’s with low miles - 3100 to 4000 miles. Am I to assume these are loaners? I suppose a quick call to each would answer my question. Based on whether they are loaners, its looks like these would be available for lease (based upon what I’ve read on other posts, albeit 2017 models). All are priced in the 41-45K range so I assume not much wiggle room on further price negotiations? And lastly, looking at Edmunds it appears that RV would be in the 60-61% range for a 24 mos/12K lease, MF of .00152 and lease cash currently available at 1K. Anyone hearing of additional incentives available that could be stacked upon this?
Looking to gather as much intel as possible before reaching out to each. Thank you for any input.
Once you call, you’re number likely gets assigned to the sales person who answers the phone and the dealer may be obligated to pay them a sales commission raising the price that they can offer you.
It might be better to e-mail the internet sales department that deals with volume sales or maybe try calling from your work number?
2017 330i XDrive Wagon, MSRP 51,185. Options incl Driver Assistance Pkg, Nav, Cold Weather Pkg, style 397 Wheels 18x8. Has 2026 miles on it. Only discounting 10.1% before incentives. Looks like most on Hackrs are getting 20+% off MSRP before including incentives. Is that what I should also be shooting for? Does in make a difference that its a wagon (more rare model)?
The fact it’s rare does make it harder to get a good deal that’s for sure. Some dealers just see it as another 3 series, others treat it like an M car.
If as expected the US market does not get a 2019 3 series wagon I’d expect to see a lot of last minute demand for the 2018 models and dealers being greedy.
Thanks @Ursus for the link. It does look like those prices wrap in rebates/incentives. That said, Boston-area dealers being less generous on their current inventory of 2017 3 series wagons. I’m not in any rush (it is for my wife who is giving her car over to my daughter later this year). Let’s see what next month brings. That would be a shame @Tirpitz if they discontinue wagons. Huge fan of wagons and not many left in the industry. Appreciate the help. Certainly if I score a deal, I will post on Hackrs. Great site!
