I just recently picked up a 2018 BMW 330I with X-Drive and, while I think I got a pretty good deal, I have been curious to see if i may have been able to do a bit better. Appreciate any insight and like I said happy to answer any questions if there is anything I may have missed.

Looks like a very decent deal on a BMW. Only thing that catches my eye is the $3,000 due at signing.
What exactly is the breakdown for that?

the $3000 is mostly to cover:
Taxes: $1438
Acquisition Fee: $925
License and Reg fee: $75
First Month’s payment: $340

the rest went towards the the cap cost. Hope this helps!

There is no tax on a lease? That’s included in the payment already…

I’ve never put money down for taxes…

When leading a 320xi the only money that was paid at signing was the first months payment… none of the other stuff

It’s either way. You can pay it upfront or pay it in the lease.

Some states require the tax up front, even if it’s only on the payment. Most dealerships end up just adding it to the monthly by adding to the cap cost of the car (like you would do on a $0 down lease).

Thanks, Looking over the paperwork it seems to be OK. From my understanding, NY requires all taxes to be paid to the state up front BUT I think I likely had the option to roll it into the monthly payments.
