In case you didn’t know, Audi makes you remain liable on the lease once transferred.

I just read about it. Thank you.

Maybe it doesn’t make sense to transfer this lease…

I mean any Audi lease transfer is BS this way

Is VW like that too? Or is that just an Audi thing?

It’s the same with VW leases.

Ahh that sucks. I guess that means we won’t be transferring out of our Tiguan at any point.

I got my new BMW already.

So does that mean youre still trying to transfer this or you got rid of the Audi?

What if I will sell it? (Private party)

Well i guess you still have the Audi currently. But yes you can sell it private party, but im not sure Audis/VWs process, if you have to buy it from them first then sell it.

Have you looked into Vroom, Carvana, Carmax? See what theyre offering?

They offer is much lower than my buyout.
But I saw online only more expensive cars.
I also have no idea how is that works.

Does anyone have any idea?

I mean i would have just stuck with the Audi and not got a BMW but to each their own.

Options are either Private Party (checking with Audi/VW Financial on the Process), take the hit from CarMax/Carvana/Vroom, Transfer it but you still being liable if anything happens and assume possible risk.

Doesnt matter what CarMax/Carvana/Vroom are selling them at since they have a good mark-up on premium cars. You gotta just see what KBB.com values at Private Party and Trade-in value and hope to end up around there.

I’m just finishing up with transfer of Audi A4 from California to Texas. STILL waiting on documents from Audi to register vehicle in Texas. They have promised FedEx delivery for weeks now…but nothing. Can’t get a tracking number from them either.
