2018 Audi A3 Sportback 1.4T FWD e-tron S tronic SoCal

Just leased an A3 e-tron in SoCal. I checked out a few different hybrids but the e-tron felt like it’d be a car I’d be proud of driving compared to the Chevy Volt / Prius.

Let me know how you think I did! Thank you to the Leasehackr community for all the tips!

Nice discount, you had no other rebates to potentially apply? Loyalty, conquest etc?

I hope that MF is .00054 if not I have some bad news for you.

This is great to see. I’ve been a fan of the A3 hatch for years. I had all but given up on the idea of leasing one - since Audi’s typically don’t lease well, but this gives me hope. Seems like a great deal. Congrats on the ride!

Calculator confirms .00054

On that note, Audi isn’t allowed to mark up that high, right?

Nice discount. 42% residual- Yikes!!

Any Audi under 1% is a win.

Yes, Conquest. Had a Lexus in the household.

Yep, my mistake. Corrected.

Just curious did you put down $3k knowing that you qualify for the $1,500? Or did you put $1,500 out of pocket and after the state rebate it ends up being $0?

Hi Ivan, Thank you for reaching out. It was a pleasure to deal with you as you were one of the first people I contacted during this process. It’s too bad you’re pretty far away from where I live. It was 1,500 out of pocket so with the state rebate it’s going to end up being $0.

You’re welcome! ~$3,500 back of invoice deal which is pretty much rock bottom. Congrats!

Very Cool!

I’m in Socal too, and considering this or the Honda Clarity, as I need the HOV lane. Can you share what dealer you purchased from?

This deal may still be available

In my opinion I would buy the car out in the end since the payments covered a large portion of the equity. This is of course if you drove the car responsibly and expect it to last another 7 years or so without any major repairs.

Hi ilovetohack,
Mind sharing the dealer you went through for this deal? Would like to try to replicate the deal if possible. In SoCal as well.
Thanks,
D
