2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti Sport

First time working a lease deal. I love the car but I think there is still money left in the table even if the GM said “take this to any dealer, they won’t match it” I’m thinking I can get them down to $550. Thoughts on the deal?

24months came to .00001 (if I remember correctly) and $607/month. I’m ok with either 24 or 39 months depending on the “deal”.

Thoughts on the deal above and below?

Year, Make, Model, and Trim:
2018, Alfa Romeo, Stelvio, Ti sport

**MSRP: $55,940
**Selling Price: $48,358.51
**Monthly Payment: $579.98
**Down Payment: $0
**MSD: **
**Incentives:3250

**Months: ** 39 months
**Annual Mileage: ** 12k
**MF: **.00021
**Residual: **.47

**Zip Code:**19335

Yikes, that’s a FULLY loaded model. At 12K/24 that’s a pretty decent price.

What about 39mos? I would prefer the lower payment.

I would go with 24 months even if it is a few dollars more. You won’t have to worry about tires, brakes and paying for more than one service.

Very true but I don’t want just a decent deal

You can save ~$30 a month if you drop the tricoat paint.

I’m hoping to get in at $550/mo for 39mos. Deal? Or better deal to be had on the Stelvio? Last day of the month so maybe someone is willing to play ball?

@rayneman is right, you will lose more money over 39 months as you’ll have to pay for at least 2 extra services as only the first service is free. You’ll also need new tyres and probably brakes. Even if the 24 month deal is $15 or $20 more per month the real cost of ownership is less. It’s not all about the monthly lease cost.

Ouch looks high for a SUV that are not selling as well as AR planned. I think by summer those prices will drop. Especially, if you saw the used prices or low prices on ones still on the lot (7K off MSRP not including other discounts). If somebody really wanted the SUV then purchasing a used one would be a good deal especially most have low miles.

Not to mention that spark plugs are recommended to be changed at 30k miles.

But at 12k/24mos months wouldn’t I technically still need 2 services?

Who changes spark plugs at 30K miles unless the stealership tells you do it? I’ve leased more than five cars and never done anything but change the oil and NEVER been charged after turn in. If the car needs something mechanical during the short lease period than I ensure its covered by the warranty. Remember, those other services that you think you need to follow only benefit the dealership in which you take it to. For example, I took my E-class for a “B” service and they wanted $375 but when I investigated all it entailed was tire rotation and checking fluids, windshield wipers and brake pads. But when I took the car for just an oil change they checked the same stuff but cost less (these are less than the 36K miles). So during my last lease all I did was 10K mile oil changes and when I turned in they reported the car looked great and all I was charged was the servicing fee. So I decided that from now on I would stick with 24K leases which cost less for me in maint costs. Now a days, if you lease any car the first two maints are free so if you lease for 24K month all cost responsible by the leaser are gas. If done lowest lease prices according to this forum than your are doing much better than your average leaser.

TLDR. I’m just saying it’s part of the service maintenance schedule for the Giulia and Stelvio.

Not enforced when you lease or turn in. Check it out!

If you can stay just under 20k miles you could dodge the 2nd service and hand back without doing it. But if you definitely are going to max out the mileage with 12k a year you’d need to do both A and B service for 24 month. For 39 month at 12k miles you’re nearly hitting the 40k mileage service. Have a look and see how much the costs are likely to be for the first few services (after the free one), they’ll be posts in the Alfa forums about it.

well, when OP has a misfire at 31k due to fouled plugs, and takes it to the dealer thinking it’s a warranty repair, he’ll now know what to expect.

Go look at my thread to give you an idea! Just leased an Alfa in NJ!

Purchasing a used Alfa is a really, really bad idea. You only want to lease these bad boys and the shorter term the better.

Not to mention what if the previous owner cut corners and didn’t follow maintenance intervals ?
