At that point I would have to wonder if it wouldn’t be cheaper to have the car shipped from out of state.
I was also monitoring the MB C300 '17 loaner deal that my local dealer had last month, but they sold it… and I believe that MB killed the large rebate on the 2017’s anyways.
I’ve dealt with shipping a vechile in the past (2016 WRX from Colorado to San Antonio, TX) but it wasn’t great. I paid $600 which is reasonable. However, now pricing has gone up on shipping.
Only other area I could look at is Seattle. That’s a 55min plane ride and 5hr drive back, which is manageable.
I understand bud, specially paying that high price and not having standard led or hid lights and some even backup cams and navi. What are area are you in? I am sure, some people who are have done deals with a dealership within the same area on a different Acura model. Maybe based on their reviews, you should be able to determine if they are workable with pricing and then simply just send call them and deal with it over phone text or email. I am sure, at one point they will ask you to submit a credit app online to check how serious you are about it. Only do so, once you have reached your ideal numbers,.
I plugged some numbers into my workbook and if they sold the car to you at invoice less all available incentives you would be around $431/month with $1,000 down for a 36/12 lease. If you wanted to keep that cap cost reduction in your pocket you’d be around $462/month.
Sale Price - $43,450
Incentives - $5,000 dealer incentive/lease cash, $750 military
Adjusted Cap Cost - $37,295 (includes acq. fee)
RV=53%, MF=.00054
9% Tax Rate
If this helps, I helped someone sign a 12k/36 last Saturday 3/24/18 in S. FL on a FWD Aspec and this wasn’t a great deal as the buyer was very very impatient and was being a p.i.t.a.
$1000 due at signing, $450 tax included (6%),
You try looking at the Honcker app ?
In NJ TLX V6 AWD A Spec is $446 w 1770 at signing. That’s without military.
I’m located in WA (9%) but registering the car in VT (6%) for the tax savings.
Based on your calculations, If they get me under $450, it’s not a bad lease. Once they get back to me with final numbers I will post it and get an answer. But it sounds like being around $440-$445 isn’t bad.
I got a quote on a 2018 TLX A-Spec SH-AWD (white w/red leather) fully loaded in San Diego. I did find out it was a loaner that the sales manager drove around for 2-3 months. It has 4k miles on it and also a custom blackout package (custom black rims, tint, upgraded Michelin tires)
MSRP $45,765 + $4000 (blackout package)
Selling Price $38,249(including your drive offs)
15K miles per year
Money factor .00054
Residual 51%
Down Payment $0
$450 per month $485 (based on 7.75% SD Sales Tax)
I know there is still room to work with, especially since I got to this price pretty much instantly. They will not remove the blackout package, although it looks really nice on it. The thing is I know the package is not worth the 4k markup so its hard for me to know how much they are discounting the car or writing off the cost of the package.
The one thing I will say is that the red leather in this car is already showing age after the 2-3 months of use. I know its not real leather so i’m wondering if this happens no matter what the color is.
Anyway, hope these numbers help…
That blackout package isn’t residualized, so I wouldn’t consider the MSRP to be $49k. Also, when you return the car, are you sure you won’t be docked for having non-OEM rims?
Good to know. To be honest I didn’t dig that deep but thats a great question. Im just not sold enough on the car and price to go any further, although I think I can end up getting the car close to $400 if I wanted to.
I have read through the above deals on the A SPEC and they seem pretty solid.
What would you expect to see the 2018 TLX 2.4 W/Tech leasing for? Since MSRP on the A Spec is several grand more, I would expect the 2.4 Tech to be under $400.
I was quoted $0 down, 15K, 36 Months @ $400 per month. $432 with taxes and fees. I feel like this is kind of high, do you all agree???
