Hello, I’m new to leasing, I have to thank everyone who has posted on this website, its been eyeopening. I’ve been looking at a few deals online and I was able to work with this dealer over emails and I’ve gotten the below deal

2018 Audi A4 Premium Plus with Nav and telematics
MSRP: $49,100
Sale price: $44,000
MF: 0.00018
Due at signing: $3,538 (includes taxes, tags and processing).
Monthly: $485
Term: 36/12

Audi Covers first month payment. I’m in VA and the dealer is in Maryland (short drive and lowers processing fees)

What are you thoughts on this?

Anyone?? I’ve seen some recent deals, but I think this one can be worked further, was checking to see what everyone thinks.

Are there incentives in the sale price? You need to show those separate.

Include Audi Care? What is the RV for those specifics? What kind of incentives do you qualify for? What was the discount prior to incentives?

It does not include Audi Care.
I asked for the incentive breakdown but they didn’t give it, I’m going to ask for it again.
I asked for conquest since I currently have a BMW, but they didn’t indicate whether it was the case or not. I’ll email them back to get those numbers, thanks for the help so far.

You have to know your incentives, the mf, the residual and your target sale price before you talk to a dealer. Otherwise this happens. You have know idea if you have the deal of the century or your getting fleeced.

@drtodd The MF: 0.00018 and I was told the RV was 53% in another forum. I need to ask the dealer for what the RV is that they are using. Do they usually give you that number during negotiation or do I have to be persistent?

No. They can’t change the residual. You just need it to make your calculations. Your biggest problem is you don’t know the incentives.

The due at signing is about $1500 too high but other than that it’s about as good as you will get.

That is nuts. I ran a quote for a customer the other day @ 409 36/10 with 2500 due.

I am looking at a 36/10 A4 Quattro/Premium Plus and sport optic for around $530 including AZ tax with zero down. market rate money factor and residual. How much better can I do?

I got a quote not long ago of 35 payments of $450 or so and absolutely nothing else on similar trim and equipment but FWD.

But I’m also in LA, cheap-o-lease land.

Sweet spot right now is the “Summer of Audi” trim, which is a Premium model with the conv. package but it also has Nav/virtual cockpit included and residual is bumped up by like 1%.

Take a look at the Edmunds A4 forum and educate yourself on the base lease numbers. There should also be some sample deals for reference. Then use the Leasehackr calculator and plug in the base MF, residual, your taxes, and so on. That will tell you how good/bad your deal is. In my opinion, you should be getting that monthly payment with little to nothing down.

Thanks @quattromike , I’ve been doing that and I’m seeing better deals already. In VA I’m paying the taxes upfront, 4.15% of gross price after subtracting incentives. The dealer responded today saying this includes 2,500 incentives and Audi covering first payment as well as 52% RV.
