2017 VW e-Golf SE Lease Deal - Can we negotiate the terms of a special offer?

I’m in SoCal. The wife really likes the VW e-Golf. The plan is to lease for 3 years then buy something more permanent. I’m also intrigued by the Kia Optima and Toyota Camy deals currently available for appx. $210 per month. I’d love to see the e-Golf come in around the same payments. I’m sure I’m dreaming though.

I pasted the terms of the deal below, not sure if that protocol or not. Apologies if it’s not. Overall objective is to get into the e-Golf for 10k miles per year and probably keep the payment around $250 or lower. No trade in.
Ideally, no money down. Any thoughts or advice to get that done would be appreciated. Never leased before. Many thanks in advance!

IF THE SALE HAS ENDED, I’M ASSUMING THE OFFER IS STILL VALID IF IT’S OFFERED ON THE WEBSITE?

vw.com/special-offers currently shows $2349 down, $279/mo on 36mo/10k 2017 eGolf SE, or $159/mo on a 2016 if you can find one…

I’m guessing you haven’t read very much on here because a good lease isn’t one of the dealer specials (for the most part). You need to read up on Leasing 101 and some of the other forum topics.

I’m just commenting on what is available. With the low residual eGolf has not been looking good.
Just saw this dealer offer on the 2017 SE:
MSRP:$31,480
Sale Price:$23,499
$0 down plus 1st payment, reg, etc.
$219/mo 10k 36mo

That looks enticing. Any chance you still have the link?

I also took a spin the the EV clarity today. The only downside I could tell, is the 89 miles per charge. But you get 20k miles per year. Tough to beat.
