I don’t think this is a very good deal. Try Hayward VW in CA and give them a ring. I almost did an out of state deal woh them on an egolf in May. Shoot for more off the MSRP.
any suggestion on what to ask off the MSRP ?
Any concrete numbers from other known deals you’ve seen out there that I can use as
my negotiation strategy.
This is my very first lease . What an exciting challenge.
When I was working with vw Hayward they were offering over $10k off the vehicle. If you do a search or autotrader or cars.com and sort by cheapest new egolf for the same trim you should see some examples. Good luck hunting!
For a new model $299 with $2300 down is about right for this time frame. It’s not great, the old 2016 was going for $200 with 0 down…but you are leasing a model that has been out for like 3 months.
Volkswagon e-Golf
Hayward VW sounds like the place to go! $10K off is ridiculous
I will contact them .
Was that in the last 4 months since the 2017 came out? Also what was the
Drive off (down, acq fee, doc, license, 1st mo.)
Thanks ,
The volkswagon is my backup deal in case my Leaf reservation deal goes south.
The salesman told me its on the boat from Japan. Really? I want to believe them ,but
is this kinda like ‘we just sold the last one’, ‘checks in the mail’, ‘we had that car when you called, but
someone just bought it’ … ‘we have some lovely parting gifts for you…i.e. a bad toaster from ebay’ lol
If its true, then I will eat crow and promote this dealership and my deal (if its good)
They are manuf. in TN. I was just watching that youtube video today.
This salesman must be typical of the 'bait and switch’
he’s probably got 10 other people he’s trying to snag with the first vehicle to
come in.
Thanks for reminding me
I completely forgot about the kickoff to the production of the TN plant making the Leaf
That is crucial information
Go to the Chevy Girl thread, she didn’t even know what Bolts she was getting until it was about a day away from delivery. She constantly complained about how they don’t know anything until it’s halfway to the dealership.
