Year: 2017
Make, Model, and Trim: Subaru Outback 2.5i Touring
Months/Annual Mileage: 36/12K
Zip Code: 11101
36/12K: 63% RV, .00085 MF
No lease cash.
I am planning to lease 2017 Outback 2.5i Touring - it’s my first time leasing a car.
For June 2017, 36/12K, can anyone confirm me I have right RV and MF?
RV: 62% , MF: 0.00075, ZIP: 22102 (Virginia)
If I am correct on RV & MF, for $37,769 msrp car, is $350 a month (including tax) good deal? or do you think I can go lower? with only 1st payment due at signing…
I know new 2018 outback is coming this summer and therefore, was expecting better deal but it looks like demand for Outback is too high for crazy deal.
Any help is appreciated!
Ask on Edmunds, I didn’t see numbers for Touring there. Try for $1,500 under invoice. If you need a good salesman at Stohlman, PM me
p.s. Stohlman has 11 (5 in transit) Tourings, so you should be able to negotiate
Thank you ! I just asked on Edmunds. Hope to get an answer soon. Stohlman offered me the best sales price so far, however, they are asking for the highest lease payment haha. They almost doubled the MF…
Once you get the numbers from Edmunds, go back to Stohlman with your payment. Who’s the salesperson?
In fact, the other dealer just sent me the MF and RV for the touring model and it’s 0.00075 & 62% for 36/12K. It was Julio and he said “Money factor: 0.00125 (mark up for Finance, you have to let us make something)” and “Monthly = $421,48 without maintenence”
When I plugged the right MF and RV into the this website’s calculator, it says around $385.
If I get it at $385, is it a good deal or should I push it down for further? Thanks!
What’s the selling price?
Final was $33,000 and he said with this, it will be still $409 a month.
$347/mo including VA tax $1,369 or $381/mo incl. tax, $595 acquisition fee and $599 dealer fee. Tell them you want buy rate, no mark-up and that they make $599 on the dealer fee. Discount looks good.
Thank you so much for your help Ursus.
It was super helpful. If you would let me ask you one more question, do you think there will be a bigger discount at the end of this month since it’s close of Q2 or do I already have enough discount?
You can always wait until the end of the month, but I think you are already getting around $2,500 under invoice which is great discount on a Subaru, IMO. Just get the buy rate and you should be good. You can also get a quote from Fitzmall and if they match $33K, tell Stohlman to knock extra $300 off for MD’s lower dealer fee or get it from Fitz.
Try Kenny Booth, General Sales Manager at Fitz. I worked with him some time ago.
Thanks again for your comment. I just asked Fitzmall and hopefully they match the $33K, that way I can save extra bucks a month.
