2017 Subaru Impreza Hatchback

Looking to lease or maybe buy, not sure of any really good deals on Impreza’s but I have seen some other good deals on these forums so any recommendation’s for 4-door AWD sedans would be appreciated! I live in Iowa FYI.

MSRP: 26,589
Selling Price : 25,325
Admin fee: 129
Gov Fee (DMV) 385
Total Taxes 1,266.25
Total Price 27,105.25
MF: .0002
RV: 54%

Lease deal 36 month 15k miles.
Monthly payment (Zero Down) : 360.90

Seems pretty high for a lease.

Looks like the sale price is probably at invoice, so even if you get an extra $1,500 off the payment will still be over $300/mo. MF is good, but RV is kind of low for a Subaru. Don’t think there is much you can do to bring it down to even 1%. If you like the car then just buy, there should be 1.9% for 63 month be available.

I thought the same. Really just looking for a cheaper low hassle commute car for a couple years, so not sure if I want to buy it and have to sell it later. There is 1.9% for 63 month, which I think makes more sense financially if I do go with it.

That deal looks a lot better, but not showing up in my area. Thanks for the info!

Yep, for your location it shows $179/mo on a base $19K MSRP with close to $2K down.

But since you want an AWD - there is nothing really out there that can compare to Subaru, if there is any other AWD sedans at all.

Yeah the deals vary by region. I’m in CA, you can always buy in another region if the deal is good enough. I once drove all the way from Florida to Texas to lease a car.

@Hawkeye - maybe you should look at Legacy or Crosstrek? Legacy shows $175/mo on a $22K base with $2,585 down - $235/mo with $0 down even based on Subaru numbers. Redesigned 2017 Impreza is hot and just came out.

I think you are right, the Impreza lease was way higher than I was expecting at first but due to it being redesigned I guess it makes sense. I’m in no major hurry, so maybe I will wait a few months and keep an eye out for other lease deals that pop up. Id really like to shoot for 300 or under a month otherwise i’ll just run my 2013 X3 for a few more years until the right deal comes around.

Thanks! I went ahead and leased a Chevy Volt instead, but this is a nice little rebate for anyone looking.
