Hi,
Long time reader but this is my first post.
Truecar average price for the car is at $31,760.
Please evaluate this Santa FE SE AWD w/ Premium package quote from a dealer:

I plugged his numbers into the calculator and got this: santafe
The monthly he gave does not match the LH Calculator, let me know if I’m entering some wrong info causing the wrong monthly.

Residual: 23,606 (Calculated to : 63%)
MF From Dealer: 0.00083
MF From Edmunds: 0.00043
Acq Fee: 595
Doc Fee: 100
Tax rate: 7% (Tax in MN is upfront)

Posted in Edmunds asking for MF waiting for reply, but from previous months it seems to be around 0.00056. (SE AWD seems to be consistently having higher MF than the other trims for some reason).

I have gone through other Santa Fe posts on here, a few things I can add are:

  1. Uber $1000
  2. College grad $400
  3. Downpayment $500.
  4. Bonus drive after the fact.

Another thing I’m confused is Autobytel is showing the rebate at $3,500, however the dealer shows the rebate is $4000.

If truecar average price is $31760 then it should be $31760 - $4000 in incentives. Your adjusted price would then be $27760. Remember the dealer gets all the incentive money back from corporate.

I’m expecting quotes from some more dealers, will try and haggle more.
Do you see any issues with calculator values ? Or Any clue how the dealer came up with his number.
Edit: Looks like the First month, fees and Tax were rolled into the monthly payment.

Around $200 less so far.
I’m waiting for a quote on a loaner as We’ll, I’m hoping I can get better selling price on that.

So you’re at $216/mo for 0 down on Santa Fe SE. Correct?

I am assuming he means $200 less on his sales price.
