Ahh ok. So is the dealer stating correct when they say 15k is for purchase and only 5500 for lease ?
Yes from looking at Autobytel, the $15k is retail cash, there is $5k that is āSpring Bonus Cashā that is what your dealer is probably referring to.
So due to numbers coupe is off, the same dealer has offered a new cabriolet MSRP 151210.
Dealer came with 3175 due at signing and 1511 per month. Includes the wheel and tire insurance, 3 yr service, pickup and drop off from MIA.

Fleet Incentive Included UNTD
i beleive the MF is marked up by 19 basis points. Dealer says if you setup autopay, MBF can knock it down 10 basis points
pretty hefty sales tax
Sorry I fixed it. Thanks
If you have fleet being applied then that is $10k of your $18k discount. Even if some portion is dealer cash and fleet, youāre still basically at 5%. Same issue at the coupe, the discount is low and the MF is marked up, something has to give. Also MB autopay was discontinued, Iām surprised the dealer suggested it but I would have them reconfirm you can in fact do it.
Sijammy, Is there info on any other incentives left? Also, the fleet discount is not something what we mentioned. Infact, my friend is not even a UNTD employee or client. Im not completely sure how that works and from what I have researched here, you have to be a member or an employee. Correct me if I am wrong. That being said, the fleet is what dealer put himself in⦠How much of a discount should I be hitting him for ? I just sent him an email that i would like to roll over inceptions within the lease and have asked for a 0 due at signup lease. Lets see what he comes back with.
Thanks for all your help man. I really appreciate it
That payment would be nowhere near what heās been quoted
$1611.
btw, my partners current payment on the 2015 S coupe which is going back is $2226
The United fleet benefit isnāt employee based, it was a perk for customers. Search the forum about it, thereās info on how it works. Iām not sure why the dealer keeps mentioning it specifically if you are unsure if you even qualify. I would ask the dealer to break down the discount to understand what if any rebates are factored in.
$18,025 discount
$10,500 United EAB allowance
$7,525 repeat offender discount, our concession
The guy is offering an additional 1600 to 1800 if the inspection of the current car comes free and clear of any damage, which it will. He has only 12k miles on the car which is being returned.
Should I start by shooting out a number as a counter offer to the $1611 number he has given us for the 0 sign n drive deal? I cant seem to find any other discounts our information on rebates.
Jesus thats Lamborghini payment territory lmao⦠Iād take an S550 AND a Ranger Rover at 1k a piece. Surely they can discount more on such a higher MSRP car no? Doubt they move too many.
Lambo for 1600 with zero down !? I dont think so buddy but feel free to share a link.
Dealer margin on Benz is 13% roughly. Additionally, they may get an inventory allowance (wholesale cashout) or a retail allowance (retail cash / lease cash). Sometimes both. This along with published RVās and Subvented MF on certain models / trims. Maximizing the combination of all of these is our challenge to get the best possible payment.
I probed one of those S550 cabs for a quote and got $23k off, 16% of sticker out of the gate, not a demo unit. I am going to get a clarification on if that is including any kind of fleet benefit, they claimed there were no rebates involved but I want to be clear. So net net, I would push for more discount on your unit.
