BTW: Love this forum. I probably could have applied the PGA rebate, but I didn’t have one. I also noticed that inventory is low as these are not high volume SUV’s.

Hopefully, I’ll reach 1% on the next one.

I guess the general consensus is that this isn’t a good deal?

A $2600 discount doesn’t seem too impressive. I did a quick look on TrueCar, and they are showing an average of $5000 discount before your incentives. So I think that is why you weren’t able to crack the 1%. So I wouldn’t say it was a good deal. But if you like the car, then enjoy it!

Somebody got the Base Rx350 for 3xx a month, so your 594 a month for a few mpgs better mileage is not a very good deal.

Total discount is $5640. After driving the two, the Hybrid feels like a very different vehicle. I believe the suspension is revised due to the added weight.

Also this for an AWD and 15k per year, no MSD (NY).

You have to understand that this is:

  1. A popular/ high demand car
  2. Asian (unfavorable lease numbers with Asian cars)
  3. SUV (anything crossover and up is worse than smaller cars).
