I am in Texas, so I assume cap taxes is the tax on the portion of the vehicle I am using?
Any other ways to sweeten this deal?

Ouch. In Texas, you’re paying tax on the sales price of the car which is part of the reason why this hurts so bad.

Beyond that, there is essentially no discount so you really are paying the piper on this one. I don’t know Range Rovers well (they just feel so cheaply made so they’ve never tickled my fancy) but I can’t imagine this is anywhere near competitive.

It’s amazing to me that the body changed between 2017 to 2018 and this dealer is only offering you $4k off. Other dealers are giving $10k off… that’s what you need to ask for.

I second that, 4k off a year old model with a refresh for the new year isn’t much of a deal to me, you could probably get an 18 for the same monthly tbh.

If you are looking for a 2017 Range Rover hse pm me and I can help you get it for over 10% off

Haven’t heard of many RR deals.
Helped a family member get about 6% off a 2017 this past November, would’ve waited but the need was urgent as old RR was about to die. It was a diesel though, HSE. Better deals on diesels. 10% from above looks nice.
