2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC - Lease help in NJ

Hi All,

I’m new to this forum and trying to do my first lease. I came across this forum while looking for some advise on how to lease and after reading so many topics on the forum I was amazed how so many people were able to get so amazing deals.

I’m looking to lease a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC for 10k/36 in NJ and went to a dealer last weekend (without any prior knowledge of lease and prior to my discovery of this forum). The dealer was anxious to make a deal but I wanted to shop around and see what else I can find.

The below is what the dealer quoted me:

Market Value Selling Price: 51,355.00
Discount : 1,000.00
CILAJET : 495.00

Total Purchase : 50,850.00

Tax : 1,823.00
Doc Fee : 389.00
Non Tax Fee : 609.90

NET PRICE : 54,766.92

He gave me a number of $680 per month with $4300 down for taxes and fees for 10K/36 month lease.

Can anyone please advise me on how to approach with the lease. I can drive to PA/CT/NY if I can get good deals.

Thanks in advance

Are you against leasing a low mileage retired loaner?

Seems quite high. This is on the Prestige MB Lease specials page. I believe they are in Paramus:

Even checking on the Honcker app, you can get a 12k 36 month for 596 with 2200 due at signing.

leasing this loaner that has 280 miles on it will lower your payments, keep in mind you will loose 281 miles from the 30k you are leasing. I assume you can get another 1500ish off the sales price, and come with a final sales price of about 43k. With this final price your total monthly payment will 493 with nothing down but it includes 10 MSD’s and auto pay.

by the way that has a 9% tax that I forgot to take out

Also truecar is showing 5k off for Boston so I think the discount he is giving you isn’t good at all

Agree, his discount is terrible. I would look for 10% off the MSRP as a starting point.

That’s funny… The quote I described was from Prestige MB in Paramus NJ
