2017 Mercedes Benz C300 4Matic

I was at the dealer today and they offered the following deal for 3 year 10k miles lease

MSRP: $44,705.00
Sales Price: $38,955 (discount of $5,750 which includes 2k fleet discount for United Premier Status)
Residual: 27,270.05
Acquistion Fee: $495
Lic/Plate/Doc Fees: 318.50
MF: .00108
Monthly Payment with 8% tax: 429.02 (paying first month, acquistion fee, and lic/plate/doc fees up front)

They claim this is a great offer with a great discount. I did not push too hard on the sales price.

I was also told about the MSD discount if I put down $4500 I can lower the monthly payment to 378 with tax.

Do you think I can push the sales price lower or is what I was quoted a good deal? I am still comparing this to a few other cars.

Acquistion Fee: $495?

Claims it is employee discount over the normal acquistion fee.

Exclude the $2k fleet discount (which doesn’t cost dealer money as MBZ USA sends them a check) and you are getting <10% off MSRP. Truecar is quoting 13-15% discount and Edmunds is quoting 13.5% discount. I’d use that as a starting point and shoot for at least 15% off MSRP + fleet.

I contacted them and they said that true car’s price includes the fleet discount  which I do not believe. They said they could not do 15% and 2k fleet discount. The GM called me back about it also. Oh well, I will keep working on finding a great deal.

True cars price doesn’t include fleet

I guess they sold enough to not care right now.
