I asked over at Edmunds forum for the RV and MF. I was told the RV was 47%. That does not sound right. I have consistently seen 57-58% for this vehicle. Is this right?? Thanks

Edmunds is usually the best source for getting MF/RV. I noticed you asked for 39 months on there. Ask again for 36 months as that’s probably the best term for Lexus.

Does the 46% residual make sense?

Even if it doesn’t make sense, there’s nothing you can do about it. It’s set by LFS and cannot be modified/changed. Other option is to just purchase instead of lease.

I see. So, for instance. Lexus could decide in December to make the RV 56% or something else?

They can, but it’s unlikely. It will get lower as the 2018s get released.

With how much they are discounting the cars to move them it ends up translating to a lower residual value. Plus Lexus is doing these drive events and now has 8k certain towards gsf and rcf they probably compensated that by dropping the residuals.

I spoke to the dealer close to me and the 18s are not expected until January. I hope they have a driving event close to me (Florida) in November, as I plan on purchasing in December. Looking to be in the mid to high $6s for my lease. I have seen others achieve this.

How much are they discounting them?

It’s about right. You can find 2015 (first year) RCF in the mid 40s now. They MSRP between 72-78k new.

I seen guys pick up brand new leftover 2015s for 20-22% off msrp

I just lease a 2017 rcf $75.5k msrp got it down to $60k plus taxes rv 37% mf .0001 I don’t know if a got a good deal or not ???

Heck I think even a Chrysler 300 has a higher RV than that!
What’s your payment?

That’s probably for a term that’s longer than the standard 36 months. Plus, we don’t know how many miles he got.

Looks like your payment is in the $900, in which case you have been pawned.

You are talking to yourself? Way to go
