Was just offered the following from a Lexus dealer. The monthly payment doesn’t seem to match up to the number I’m getting from the Leaskhackr calculator.
Any help or advice on this deal? The monthly payment seems high.
Year: [2017]
Make, Model, and Trim: [Lexus GX 460 Premium]
Months/Annual Mileage: [36/15,000]
Zip Code: [22405]
MSRP: $58,957
Selling Price: $52957
MF: 0.00140
15k miles per year
Residual: 62
$683/month for 36 months.
They are marking up the money factor on you, the base rate is .00100. I know in the DC area you can get 12% off on Lexus. You should try to get that (about $1000 less then your current sales price). Consider doing MSDs to lower your payment.
Get them to drop another $1k off sales price, remove their MF markup, and then apply 9 MSDs. Should result in a monthly of $499 with $5,500 drive off, $4,500 of which would be MSDs. Pretty good for a Lexus if you ask me.
That would be a great deal considering an NX is over $500/mo. The GX is an acquired taste from all accounts but for the same payment, I would take the GX over the NX or RX
