2017 Kia Optima SXL Price Discount

Im in Boston MA
Looking at 2017 Kia Optima SXL MSRP $37125.00
Kia website shows $3000.00 lease cash. Is a -15% discount off msrp realistic. That would make my 36m/12k lease $276/month inc MA sales tax with acc fee rolled in.

Any insight greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I’ve been trying to snag up a 2016 SXL - haven’t been able to get a real quote lower than 11.3% off. I was also thinking that 15% was a realistic target, especially for last year’s model, but so far I have come up short.

Just bring the news article below to the dealer and you should have no problems getting 30% off.

Kia Motors and Hyundai Motor Company will recall more than 1.3 million vehicles in the U.S., including three crossover and SUV models, in order to fix an engine defect that could cause the vehicles to stall.
The affected models include the 2011-13 Kia Sportage, 2012-14 Kia Sorento and 2013-14 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. The 2011-14 Kia Optima and 2013-14 Hyundai Sonata sedans are also affected.

The automakers reported the recalls to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on March 31.
“Hyundai is initiating this action to ensure the safety and quality of its vehicles and the continued satisfaction of its customers,” said Miles Johnson, spokesman at Hyundai.
The recall affects nearly 166,000 Kia Sorento models with the 2.4-liter engine, and more than 8,000 Kia Sportage vehicles with the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. The Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is equipped with both engines. It was not immediately clear how many Santa Fe Sports are affected.
