2017 Jetta S Manual

I’m looking to get a 2017 Jetta S Manual 36 months / 10k miles. The sales guys I’ve been working with say their dealers don’t allow them to email worksheets out. The best offer to date is $197 a month with the sign and drive. He said it would be $150 a month if I paid TT&L upfront, and I live in Texas with 6.25% sales tax on the price of the car. MF is .0002 and residual is 54%.

My math looks like this:
MSRP: $17,815
Sales Price: $14,225
Tax: $890
Title, registration, other fees: $740

It seems like a good deal to me. Is it? Anything I need to look into?

How’s your credit?

If it’s good you’re getting ripped on the MF. That’s 4.8% APR. Should be close to 2 with tier 1.

Try and confirm the residual value somewhere. 54 on Jetta seems kinda low.

Check Edmund’s for the residual and MF on this car

What did you to get the sale price down? Is there some incentives?

Edit: My bad. MF is 0.48%.

It’s .48%. Residual and MF are both correct according to Edmunds.

$1250 lease cash, $500 recent grad.

Final deal was $193 a month sign then drive (VW pays first month and 500 recent grad rebate). This includes TT&L, doc fee, acquisition fee, and scheduled maintenance (1055, 157, 625, and 370).

I’m having trouble getting the numbers to match exactly on the calculator here (no problem with the one at Edmunds), but it looks like the leasehackr score is around 10 years.
