That’s not a good deal at all. DO NOT SIGN…Run as fast as you can.
I leased a 2017 XF 35T Prestige for $361Month with $813 Due @ Signing. This was 3 Months ago.
Thanks for the reply!
But seriously, HOW did you do it?
I’ve been looking for months and still struggling to get a hacker worthy deal. In fact, according to the feedback from this site I’m nowhere near.
Is it the Texas tax laws which kill the deal?
Did you do it in Texas with Taxes on full sales price?
Car and dealership are located outside of Texas. My understanding is they have calculated with Texas taxes on the full sales price – $2,378.91 (as required by Texas law).
Thanks
Not a bad deal for Texas. Texas is terrible for leasing because of the taxes. Your sales tax alone is $66 a month on that deal.
Consider a demo? In either case, don’t pay that amount for a XE. Even if higher trim/higher MSRP makes it a good deal. $400+ is too much for an entry Jag.
If that payment is rolling in all the taxes, it’s not as bad as people are suggesting. You’re probably getting hosed an extra $70/mo for TX taxes.
However, I will say that the XE is not worth even close to $400/mo… Having driven one for a few weeks, it’s just not a very inspiring drive.
Where did you lease that? Im looking for the same model right now.
