Leasehackr community, learning a lot from this forum! I am in market for SUV with decent cargo space and configurable back seat (3rd row may be), 2017 CRV seems to have added enough inches for 3rd row,
Can I please have the MF and Residual for following?
Year: [2017]
Make, Model, and Trim: [Honda CRV EX]
Months/Annual Mileage: [36/12K]

wow, i had no idea about the third row seating in the 2017 crv! If that’s for real, it’s pretty cool. Also, didn’t realize it was even out. Hopefully the 2017 is a lot nicer than the 2016 on the inside. When I test drove it, I was kinda shocked that the CRV felt so cheap inside. I always thought Hondas felt more luxurious, but the CRV didn’t at all. The pilot felt a little nicer, but still not anywhere close to the Toyotas. Just my two cents.
Have gone to a few Honda Dealerships in NY area. Since it was just released they aren’t really passing along any incentives on the 2017 CRV yet. Interior looks much nicer in my opinion than 2016. (Looked at the EX-L w/o NAV)
You’ll need to move to the Pilot & Highlander category…even the smaller SUVs that once offered third rows (RAV4 1 or 2 generations ago, I think current Rogue) have seen customers finding them so useless that they hardly sell.
Not sure what area of the country you are at, but the MF is a killer on most CR-V leases for the 2017 model. It is over 5% APR! I just leased a Toyota Limited AWD with an MSRP of 44883 for $411 which includes 7% tax a month. That included 9 MSD’s of $3825 (fully refundable at lease end) which bought the MF of the Highlander down to 1.85APR. Only 411 down upfront other than the MSD’s.
We were interested in the CR-V BUT the MF was way too high. A Touring AWD which had an MSRP of over 10000.00 less than the Highlander was going to be over 500 a month with 1000 down! Checked several dealers and even an EX-L with Nav was going to be around 430. The 39 months was also a big red flag. Would have paid an extra 1200 on the EX-L just for 3 extra months, and no bumper to bumper warranty after the 36 months. I also had wanted a 36/12K but they pushed the 39 months!
Can anyone comment on this lease on Honda CRV Ex-L 2018 ASAP:
12k miles / 36 months
3500$ down
MSRP 29k
Selling price 27 k
Residual 20 k
monthly lease 343/month
Thanks for your input guys. Has anyone gotten cheaper lease deals on CRV ? There are not great incentives or rebates from manufacturer or car dealers ?
thanks for the information ! thats the exact reason i wanna go for CRV. Somehow i went to dealers again and got 1000$ off my down payment after getting a cheaper deal from another dealer. if you dont mind can u share is the down payment and monthly payment ?
