I must have used a bad source online, but do you think dealers tend to buy out these types of cars? Or do they want nothing to do with them. The 800 was 4000 for the car used multiplied by 0.2, sorry about that!
Ahhh, that makes more sense. The dealer offering you $100 means it has no interest in the car. If youâre willing to give it away to them at that price, theyâll take it off your hands, but that is far from a competitive offer. My assumption is the vehicle is on a rebuilt title which isnât all that different from a clean title. It certainly has a large effect on value, but $100 is below what the thing is worth even in pure scrap (itâs worth about $200 in just scrap value). Your best option is finding someone who needs a decent driving, cheap car on CL. If you donât have the patience for that, one of the online buyers will definitely make an offer. Worth noting, those companies immediately send purchased vehicles to auction, so the offer they give you will be low enough to leave margin for them to profit at auction.
That makes more sense, I think it would be best for me to go to Cash for Cars and see that offer and compare it to other offers I can get, thank you
