2017 Honda Accord Hybrid

May have found a potential hackr-worthy deal.

2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Base

Selling Price: $23,XXX
Rebates: $4,750 ($4,250 lease incentive, $500 grad bonus)
Misc Government Fees: $250

Dealer Fee: $698 (yes, I know it’s extremely high)

Since the new 2018 Accord has been released, it looks like Honda is really incentivizing for dealers to move the old inventory.

Wow. That is a great deal. Can you PM or share the salesperson and dealer info. Thanks.

Can you tell me which dealer?

Great job! Definitely a good deal.

Great discount before rebates! Looks like a super deal.

Any chance it’s a dealer in South Florida? Could you PM me the dealer info? Thanks in advance!

Did you actually do this lease or found it and just sitting on the sidelines? Goes without saying, what dealer? 27 months??

Hi everyone. I’m going to the dealer this evening to talk about the numbers. The dealer discount is a little over $6,000. But for some reason, they’re having trouble applying the $4,250 lease incentive. I’ll have more details tonight.

any guidance/suggestion ?

Not sure how other dealers are allocating the lease cash, but the two I have talked to said that they include the $4,250 inventive in the dealer discount, regardless of if the car is being bought on a conventional finance or lease… But the edmunds forum specifically stated it was a lease incentive. Anyone else have a different experience? To my understanding, a dealer discount, and a manufacturer incentive are two completely different things.

I don’t envision it leasing particularly well. You’re being charged the standard .002 MF, which equates to about 5%. The finance charge ruins the entire deal.

looking to purchase i am

If you’re set on a CR-V, negotiate hard. I don’t see any incentives on them now. Not even a special financing rate. See which dealer is willing to give the best discount.

If I were in your shoes, I’d look into a buying CPO from a luxury brand. To give you an example, I helped my grandma purchase a 2 year old BMW X3 with 30k miles for $29,991.

I am actually looking for an Accord Hybrid for my wife if i can get the same numbers you are with $0-2-3K down.

@humphrey did you end up closing this deal? Was it in So Cal by any chance? Thanks!

I did not. The dealer included the incentive in their sale price. So their final price was $24,353. I believe it was a miscommunication between it being lease cash versus dealer cash. It seems as though the $4,250 is dealer cash. Best term/payment I could get was $328 for 36 months with $1,000 down or $356 with $0 down.

Pretty good discount on a Honda, in general, though. Just a terrible lease structure. This was in Nashville, TN.

Best deal I’ve seen for this so far is $2995 down and $229 a month. That’s just online though. I’m sure those figures will be different when talking to an actual dealership.
