2017 Equinox deal CONFIRMED; '17 LT (FWD) $29,975 MSRP car for $144/mo (+ tax) w/ effective $370 total out of pocket. Possibly cheaper deals for LS model available. Florida

I can’t seem to follow the total out of pocket at signing. Most people here are paying around $1000 out of pocket.

TR10 $1070
dan1george $975
fleonardo $1070
Itlru $1070
SSR $849.

My understanding is that via costco there’s no dealer fee to pay so why is everybody paying around $1000 out of pocket when the first payment is under $200? Where does the extra $800+ come from?

See my post #254. I don’t think the dealer fee is actually being waived.

@ssr or @Yitche2 can you guys PM me the details of the dealer too? I spoke to a dealer in Santa Clara, CA and the quote I received was insanely high!

Talked to my L.A. county dealer, states she has two more tags left; same deal for the FWD LSs; if you qualify for a $1500 incentive she’ll do $0 drive off and $130/mo including L.A. county tax, she does have LTs that she can do at the same % off MSRP but I didn’t inquire about the numbers…Says she expects the tags to be exhausted by Saturday…PM if you want the info…

Can you copy me on the PM, I checked with a san jose dealer, and was quoted way off !!

I just created an account today… so can’t send PM yet. @ssr mind forwarding it to @sag123?

Also if you are leasing from an autonation owned dealership, don’t forget to checkout Amex $200 off $1000 offer.

How does that work hackr? Is that one of the deals when you login to your amex account and they list a bunch of cash back offers you can sign up for?

PM sent to @sag123.

Don’t forget tag transfer/reg fees & taxes, etc. Here in Florida that can range up into the hundreds, so there is likely a few hundred in there unaccounted for possibly being used as cap reduction, or padding a dealer fee, etc., as we all see they’re moving money around the screen to make it work.

Be that as it may, for an effective $370 drive off and that nice, low payment, they can move whatever they want…I’m not trying to squeeze blood from a turnip; this deal was more than fair for both me and the dealer.

So my local dealer contact told me that the CHEVY lease loyalty rebate on an Equinox was bumped up to $2,000 for the time being. I believe it’s also $2k for lease conquest.

So now it’s be $1,700 CCR + $750 inc CCR + $2,000 Chevy lease loyalty/lease conquest = $4,450 in rebates.

Add the $500 farm bureau and possible $750 bonus tag, we’re looking at potentially $5,700 in rebates! Plus the Costco $700.

Maybe someone can beat @Insolvent current mark later this month. :stuck_out_tongue:

Holy crap…extra $500 in rebates ?! This thread should be getting even better in the coming weeks.

@TR10 i thought it was $1500 conquest before vs $2000 now, so only $500 extra, no? Or am i looking at it wrong?

Yeah, read it wrong, lol. edited my post

So $500 extra in rebates, plus end of year pushes by dealers…how low can someone go? <$50/month after Costco card??
If the GM card bonus offers get pushed out 1 Jan like last year, could be some epic deals in the future!

Pulled the trigger today on Equinox LT + convenience + power tail + driver confidence package…
I wasn’t eligible for lease conquest/lease loyalty as this is my first lease :frowning:

M.S.R.P. 30075.00
PRICE 26770.67
Rebates 3450.00 (1700 lease cash +750 CCR +1000 bonus tag)
Residual 66% (24 month/ 10k miles/year)
MF 0.00125
CA sales tax 8.75%

downpayment including first month installment - $850
monthly payment - $219
costco cashback -$700

Not the best… but I’m ok with it  Thanks to @SSR and this thread

Here’s what I just heard back from a dealer in western PA:

2017 Equinox AWD LT
MSRP $30890
Supplier Price $29530.45
Dealer Discount $1360
Lease Cash $1700
Other Incentives $3000
Money Factor 0.00070
Residual is 66% for 24 months and 57% for 36 months

24 month lease is $241.99 plus tax, $266.19/mo.
36 month lease is $249.45 plus tax, $274.40/mo.

Both are with zero down, just pay for plates and fees.

The above only has the convenience package.
