Hello Guys new to this forum hopefully this is the right spot to post this. Currently I have a 2017 Charger Daytona 392 im leasing it 15k/36 mo 550$ a month i did 0 down i currently have 12 months left on the lease leaving 6600$ remaining in payments I put a call into the dealer I got it from today waiting to hear back tommorrow what they can do I’m Looking to get rid of this and get in a 2019 charger hellcat lease I dont want any rollover I’m in Michigan if anyone knows a dealer or anyone that can help. Also the car only has 3500 miles on it and is like brand new im allowed 15k miles a year its hardly driven.
Shop it on Carvana or vroom if it really only has 3,500mi…
If profit? Use towards new lease.
You’ve driven just 3500 miles in 2 years? Why would you want to continue wasting your money leasing?
I don’t think it’s going to work out. For kicks, I got a Vroom quote of $53k on my 2018 Hellcat with 4k miles on it and a $75k MSRP. The Daytona may not be as bad as Hellcat, but they seem to be very bad at holding their value. You are likely pretty far under water and will have a lot to roll over. Check the payoff amount from the lease company vs a quote from Carvana or Vroom for a ballpark estimate.
Not clear on your question… there is no true pull ahead so you are paying for the remaining lease either upfront or rolling it into the new lease. Nothing a dealer can do.
Can you do a private lease transfer? May get some interest especially since there is a ton of miles available. Who is the bank?
Ally bank.
Ally allows transfer and you would no longer be liable. Just can’t transfer in the last 90 days. May need to throw out an incentive even with the low miles but better than just eating the final payments which is the only option if the car’s value is underwater. Any dealer who says otherwise is lying.
Why did you lease for 15k miles a year if you only put on 3,500 miles in two years?
Do you need 15k miles a year? Have you looked at leasing for 7,500 miles a year? Or financing? Leasing may not make sense.
Called a few dealers today in Michigan looking around for a 2019 hellcat most likely going to have to build one but got some pricing how are these numbers 36/10k 650$ and just startup cost at signing or 36/15k for 717$ with startup cost that’s based on a 73k$ car. Also that’s with employee pricing
@Bchait
I PM you on this
As far as pricing , everyone is going to want to see the following before rating the deal
MSRP
dealer sale price before incentives
Incentives
MF and RV
When I got my FCA EP the email stated there was no EP avail on SRT (hellcat) models. Granted this was last month and could’ve changed, but I doubt it
MI has some great incentives (generally speaking) the best I’ve seen in FL is 4-5k off a 75k car or about 8% off a 68k car. Then again I haven’t really shopped them seriously yet either
